This course is intended for artists who understand the fundamentals of storyboarding and are interested in taking the next steps to learn digital storyboarding techniques with Toon Boom's Storyboard Pro to optimise their production. Participants will learn to plan and construct storyboards as well as animatics using the latest techniques available in Storyboard Pro, including the 3D environment and collaboration tools. Participants should be familiar with storyboarding principles before taking this course. (4 x 3.5hr Sessions)

This course is intended for artists who are new to Harmony and want to gain a general knowledge of all the main functionalities. Participants will learn the core concepts in Harmony from basic frame-by-frame animation, to cut-out animation, rigging, and compositing in Harmony Premium. Participants should have an understanding of the 12 principles of animation before taking this course. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions)
Harmony Premium 24 - Gaming Foundation
This course is intended for artists who are familiar with gaming concepts, but new to Harmony, and want to gain a general knowledge of all the main game-related functionalities. Participants will learn the core gaming concepts in Harmony from basic tools and interface to character creation, rigging, skinning, animation and pipeline integration in Harmony Premium. Participants should have a basic knowledge of the animation principles and a general idea of game concepts. Experience with 2D gaming animation techniques will improve the learning experience.(10 x 3.5hr Sessions)
Harmony Premium 24 - Cut Out
This course is intended for artists who are new to Harmony, but want to specialise in Harmony’s cut-out animation tools. Participants will use Harmony Premium to learn the basics of digital cut-out animation by animating rigs through introductory exercises and reoccurring production animation techniques, such as cycles and interaction with props. Participants should have an applied knowledge of the 12 principles of animation before taking this course. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions).
Harmony Premium 24 - Paperless
This course is intended for artists who are new to Harmony, but want to specialise in Harmony’s paperless tools. Participants will learn the fundamentals of frame-by-frame animation using digital tools through introduction exercises and production scenes using Harmony Premium. Participants should have an applied knowledge of the 12 principles of animation before taking this course. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions).
Harmony Premium 24 - Intro to Rigging
This course is intended for artists who are new to rigging and want to learn the fundamentals of constructing character rigs for studio productions. Participants will learn to assess production needs and build standard rigs using a nodal system, deformers, masks, and optimised drawing tools in Harmony Premium. Participants should have a basic understanding of the cut-out animation pipeline and the concepts of rigging to take this course. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions).
Harmony Premium 24 - Advanced Rigging
This course is intended for artists who are interested in taking their rigging knowledge to the next level for studio productions. Participants will learn how to use Harmony Premium to plan, and analyse, production-ready rigs using cutting-edge techniques to build various areas of a 360 rig. It is preferable that participants take Toon Boom’s ‘Intro to Rigging’ course before taking this course, however having a solid knowledge of Harmony character rigs, cutters, deformers, and drawing layers is also sufficient. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions).
Harmony Premium 24 - Intro to Compositing
This course is intended for artists who are new to Compositing in Harmony and want to learn the core functions to do compositing for studio productions. Participants will learn to stage scenes, do camera work, and composite elements together with filters, masks, and colour correction in Harmony Premium. Participants should understand the basic principles of compositing to take this course. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions).
Harmony Premium 24 - Advanced Compositing
This course is intended for Compositing artists who are familiar with compositing in Harmony and are interested in honing their skills or taking steps towards supervising the Compositing department for studio productions. Participants will learn the inner-mechanics of filters, how to create complex effects, and use advanced features such as particles and normal maps in Harmony Premium. It is preferable that participants take ‘Intro to Compositing’ course before taking this course, however having a solid knowledge of Harmony compositing, node view and node library is sufficient. (10 x 3.5hr Sessions.)
Storyboard Pro 24 - Train the Teacher
This course is intended for teachers who are integrating Storyboard Pro in their Highschool curriculum. Participants will learn the core concepts in Storyboard Pro from basic panel sketching, to caption management and animatic creation. Resources are provided for the teachers to align lessons with the Certification learning objectives so that their students can take the Associate exams with confidence. Participants should ideally have some experience using digital tools. Storyboarding knowledge is a bonus. Professionals and tertiary educators should consider taking the Storyboard Pro Foundation course instead. (6 x 3.5hr Sessions)
